Shipping Container Delivery in Newark, NJ
We deliver your container on a gooseneck tilt-bed trailer and set it down exactly where you want it. Here is how delivery works and how to prepare your site.
How Delivery Works
Your container is loaded onto a tilt-bed trailer (a gooseneck for most orders, or a tractor-trailer for larger loads). At your site, the driver tilts the bed and gently slides the container onto the ground as the truck pulls forward — no crane needed in most cases.
Space & Clearance You'll Need
- Straight-line room: about 100–120ft of clear, straight space (a 20ft can work with ~60–100ft in some areas).
- Width: at least 12ft for the truck and trailer.
- Overhead: 15–16ft of clearance — watch for wires, branches, and rooflines.
Surfaces We Can Place On
Containers can be set on level ground, gravel, concrete, or asphalt. To keep the unit level and off wet ground, many customers place it on blocks or railroad ties. A firm, level surface protects door alignment and helps drainage.
Delivery Area & Inspection
